By accessing and using Vyne ("the App"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Vyne is an AI-powered voice journaling and mentorship application that provides personalized advice based on user inputs. The service uses artificial intelligence to generate responses in the style of various mentor personas.

3. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: All mentor responses and advice provided through Vyne are generated by artificial intelligence and should not be considered as:

• Professional medical, psychological, or mental health advice
• Legal or financial advice
• Actual statements or endorsements from the real individuals whose personas are represented
• Guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific situation

AI-generated content may contain errors, biases, or unexpected responses. You are solely responsible for evaluating and acting upon any advice received through the App.

4. No Affiliation with Mentors

Vyne is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected with any of the individuals whose personas are represented in the App. The AI mentor personas are based on publicly available information and do not represent the actual views, advice, or endorsements of these individuals.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the App responsibly and at your own discretion
• Not rely solely on AI-generated advice for important life decisions
• Consult qualified professionals for serious matters
• Verify important information from other sources
• Not misrepresent AI-generated content as coming from actual individuals
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials

6. Prohibited Uses

You may not:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer or extract the AI models
• Share your account with others
• Use the App to harm yourself or others
• Circumvent any technical limitations or security measures
• Use automated systems to access the App

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, and AI models, is owned by Vyne and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. User-generated content (your journal entries) remains your property, but you grant us a license to process it for the purpose of providing the service.

8. Subscription and Payments

Some features of Vyne may require a paid subscription. Subscription terms include:

• Monthly or annual billing cycles
• Automatic renewal unless cancelled
• Refunds subject to our refund policy
• Prices subject to change with notice

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• Vyne is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the App
• We are not responsible for decisions made based on AI-generated advice
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the past 12 months

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Vyne operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

15. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
